Bamboozled Patriots: Supporting Our Troops
The following link is a great piece written by the father of a soldier being deployed to Iraq. Just yesterday I was telling a friend how silly people looked driving around with Support Our Troops magnets on their cars. So sadly naive they are. Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do." (Luke 23:34 RSV) If these genuine, yet bamboozled patriots really supported our beloved troops, they would not buy into the blatant and obvious lies that the W on the other side of their bumper sold them. Where are all the Mission Accomplished stickers at? If you want to support the troops then challenge the motives, track record and competence of G.W. Bush. It is ok to accept the fact that you were lied to and taken advantage of by this administration and it's bought and paid for media outlets. You may be embarrassed but God forgives you. I'm Chaz Atlas and that's how I see it.
