Where You At? White House Dismissed '02 Surveillance Proposal.
The Bush administration rejected a 2002 Senate proposal that would have made it easier for FBI agents to obtain surveillance warrants in terrorism cases, concluding that the system was working well and that it would likely be unconstitutional to lower the legal standard. Then they turned right around and started wire-tapping American citizens phones without registering those taps with the FISA Court that was established for wire taps. He breaks the law and then gives it a name - the Terrorist Surveillance Act. Only in Bush Country huh? Don't forget Bush Inc. also twisted the arms of Sprint, AT&T and Verizon to turn over cell phone records as well as tried to get Google to turn over search engine records. Wake the fuck up please. I'm Chaz Atlas and that's how I see it.
