More Halliburton Hypocrisy


The only people who have benefited since Bush/Cheney literally stole the White House in 2000 have been the rich people who directly benefit through Bush's tax cuts and cheap labor. But the biggest winner of all is no doubt Dick Cheney's Halliburton. They got no bid contracts to rebuild Iraq, New Orleans and now more torture camps. There is a rush to the moon and mars so they can build some shit up there as well. Halliburton is the ownership society.

Exxon's Billion Dollar Profit Bonanza


Exxon's profits last year was a staggering $36.13 billion -- bigger than the economies of 125 of the 184 countries ranked by the World Bank. Profit rose 42 percent from 2004, largely due to soaring oil and gas prices. These types of profits and you think big oil is going to let hybrids or electric cars get in their way? Please. FEMA failed to accept Katrina help, documents say

Federal emergency officials failed to accept offers of possibly life-saving aid from the Department of Interior immediately after Hurricane Katrina. That's what you get when you let an idiot decide who is going to lead our federal emergency efforts. Only a rich, clueless brat would hire a horse association president, as Director of one of the most important federal agencies we have. Thousands of people were stranded, dead or suffering and George thought Brownie was doing a "heck of a job".

New Orleans could lose most blacks - Hurricanes' Aftermath

Could lose most blacks? Just take a look at the footage of the 2006 Mardi Gras. It looked like a Trent Lott house party if you know what I mean. Why were tens of thousands N.O. residents shipped off to all 50 states instead of keeping them close to home? Because they knew they couldn't get back. And since they aren't around to claim their property, Bush Inc. will step in and take the land and have developers turn it into a "new" New Orleans that everyone can be proud of. Ann Coulter Jokes About Poisoning Supreme Court Justice

Conservative commentator Ann Coulter, speaking at a traditionally black college, joked that Justice John Paul Stevens should be poisoned. Coulter recently told the Philander Smith College audience that more conservative justices were needed on the Supreme Court to change the current law on abortion. Stevens is one of the court's most liberal members. "We need somebody to put rat poisoning in Justice Stevens' creme brulee," Coulter said. "That's just a joke, for you in the media."

Anyone else publicly joking about poisoning a Supreme Court Justice would be sitting in jail. Of course her comments are in true Republican spirit as the Rev. Pat Robertson called for the assassination of a foreign leader. I thought conservatives were supposed to be good, Christian, wholesome, patriots. Fuck you Ann Coulter. You are an obnoxious cunt. Boondocks King Episode Prompts Protest Threats from Rev. Al Sharpton


Rev. Al, I love you brother but this is one issue you should simply leave alone. There was nothing inappropriate about this episode. King is probably turning in his grave from all of the apathy and indifference by millions of young black eligible voters today. Boondocks is one of the few, rare outlets where young black voices can speak out on social and political issues. It is sad that in 2006 the opinions of young black people have been regulated to cartoons, a few hip-hop artists and comedians. It's not just sad, it's fucked up. Where You At? White House Dismissed '02 Surveillance Proposal.

The Bush administration rejected a 2002 Senate proposal that would have made it easier for FBI agents to obtain surveillance warrants in terrorism cases, concluding that the system was working well and that it would likely be unconstitutional to lower the legal standard. Then they turned right around and started wire-tapping American citizens phones without registering those taps with the FISA Court that was established for wire taps. He breaks the law and then gives it a name - the Terrorist Surveillance Act. Only in Bush Country huh? Don't forget Bush Inc. also twisted the arms of Sprint, AT&T and Verizon to turn over cell phone records as well as tried to get Google to turn over search engine records. Wake the fuck up please. The Mexican Government printed 70,000 maps that were to be handed out to illegal Mexican border jumpers before the program was halted after protests. Mexican President Vicente "Fox" Bush wants Mexicans to invade the U.S. so they can come here, get paid under the table and send that money back home. Mexican Military invades Texas

In Sierra Blanca, Texas The F-B-I says men dressed as Mexican soldiers, apparent drug suspects and Texas law enforcement officers faced off on the U-S side of the Rio Grande.

F-B-I El Paso spokeswoman Andrea Simmons tells The Associated Press that Texas Department of Public Safety troopers chased three S-U-Vs yesterday, believing they were carrying drugs. The chase went to the banks of the Rio Grande. I thought we were winning the War on Terror. I thought the Bush White House and Repulicon Congress were looking out for us. Our National Guard needs to be on our borders and not in Baghdad. Our National Security is a bad joke and we the people are footing the bill. I'm Chaz Atlas and that's how I see it.

Iran says, "See Ya CNN"



Iran said Monday it is barring CNN from working in Iran "until further notice" due to its mistranslation of comments made by the president in a recent news conference about the country's nuclear research.

In a speech Saturday, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad defended Iran's right to continue nuclear research. State media have complained since the speech that CNN used the translation "nuclear weapons" instead of "nuclear technology." Now do you think getting the words weapons and technology confused goes beyond being a minor mistake? I would have kicked CNN the hell out my country as well if they got something that serious that wrong. I'm Chaz Atlas and that's how I see it.
